Words that Don't Lie

Hello fellows :) Hahaha

I am having a pretty chilled day (it's a holiday!) :D Teehee
Anyways, today I had an extremely truth-revealing DEEP conversation with two of my friends. It was QUITE something.
Goodness, it was like being hit by multiple truth bombs :/
Now they always the truth hurts. But they also say that you should never lie.
The truth always comes out. Whether you like it or not. You've just gotta be mature and wise enough to handle it in the best way. I won't say NEVER LIE. Come on, admit it, its pesky when people say that. But never lie for personal gain. Do it for good things. And hopefully, when the truth comes out, it won't be so bad.

To quote Allison DiLaurentis from Pretty Little Liars,

"The truth isn't some shiny disco ball of purity. It doesn't set you free"

People should make more music like this..rather than stupid stuff about how they absolutely enjoyed making out with some hoe in a hotel room -___- Seriously, has music lost all its meaning?
It seems like its conformed to the ridiculous, sex-obsessed pop culture generation of today. Where all that matters is money, gadgets and makeup.

That's the kind of world we live in.
But fear not. People like Ed Sheeran DO exist :) If you look hard, you'll find many :)

Is it me or is my music taste doing a whole 360 degree turn? Its like, out with all the gooey, soft pop and funky Katy Perry and Bruno Mars, and in with darker, twisted, indie rock and just....deeper music. I'm into more different stuff now....which is good. Very good actually
Discovering new artists is undescribable...for me, that is. It's a new, fresh, exciting experience.  Fun and delicious and so completely NEW. Take a listen to some of these pote tunes....they're truly magical. And I hope through this blog, you've been able to discover a whole bevy of fabulous, new music. Because sharing new music is like sharing love. And we all know this world needs a lot more love

A Thousand Years....and more :)

So guys...it's my birthday!!! Haha
I've had a lovely day thanks to my friends...received tons of hugs and cards and Facebook wall posts :) They simply made my day. BUT the celebrations are definitely not over yet...more presents to come and a partaaaay to rock out at :D I'm very super excited!!!! Lol
And school is closing tomorrow :) Which is the BEST news ever

So as you can see, I'm feeling QUITE chuffed ;) so I won't be staying long...gotta go and stuff my face with chocolate cake *guilty giggles*

Sorry about the no-show yesterday. Moi has been super busy doing some fashion sketches and bingeing on ice-cream. I am feeling ultra happy because.....
a) It's my birthday tomorrow (just reminding you!)
b) It's my party on Wednesday.
c) Also on Wednesday, school is closing for a month. Whoop whoop!!
d) It's my friend's birthday party on Friday
e) The long Easter weekend is this week

So. I have many reasons to smile right now. I quite like this picture. So I'm sharing it with you guys...and yeah :)

OH and I cannot wait for Hunger Games to hit the land of Botswana...on Friday the 13th!!! :) haha, eep!
